Becoming Techie

For a non techie person like me, even the simplest computer stuff can be daunting. It took a while before I learned how to defrag my computer. Here at home, it's hubs and my daughter who usually do all these things; but hubs imposed that I should learn too so I know what to do in case something happens to my computer and both of them are not around. Point well taken so I had to force myself to learn things like how to backup files, do the WP updates on my own, learn how to reformat hard drive, etc. It was taxing for me but I have to admit that learning these things are beneficial. At least now I don't have to depend on them when dealing with techie stuff.
