Claire Barrow
Fêted for her hand-painted unisex leather designs, this Westminster fashion graduate made her debut at Fashion East during September’s London Fashion Week and made such an impression at the event that she was immediately included in the ‘names to know’ list of the fashion event. Her unique fashion aesthetic has gained her following from Vogue’s Francesca Burns to Rihanna. Vogue, Dazed & Confuse, Grazia, i-D and The Independent have all applauded her collection. According to her, she aims to ‘provide people with a piece of art which they can wear and keep forever like they would a painting on a canvas.’ Her degree collection put her on the map of fashion leathers. Her clothes are for rebels and are meant to be worn with a nonchalance that is non-affected. It will be interesting to see what she will be coming up with this 2013.

Each x Other
The new French brand Each x Other is a collaborative fashion brand, a fusion between art and fashion. The brand is promoting a unisex wardrobe with a masculine direction. They have presented an androgynous line tweaked into a women’s collection that is referenced from the ‘boyfriend look.’ It believes in timeless and genderless design that can be the new fashion direction this 2013. The brand calls on artists, poets, musicians, filmmakers, fashion designers and craftsmen to participate in the creation of limited edition garments in silk and denim which makes the brand one of those that we must watch very closely this year.

Eudon Choi
Korean born desiger Eudon Choi showed his “Terra Nova” collection at the London Fashion Week in February of 2012 and wowed the audience with his unique style. His autumn/winter 2012-13 collection was immediately snapped up by Selfridges. The collection included sleek white cocoon jackets, panel skirts and tunics in white, black and navy, silver dresses and jumpsuits, and A-line shaped skirts and coats with a futuristic feel. This designer is certainly on his way up as his collections caused quite a buzz at showing and queues snaked long for his second salon show.
