Move over, Miranda Kerr, a new crop of faces are all set to take your crown! There are quite a few faces on that radar that I am predicting will be shaping the fashion trends of 2013. Here are my picks for this New Year.
Cara Delevigne
With her amazing brows and Burberry’s behind her, this girl simply can’t fail. She recently signed up as a Victoria’s Secret angel and just won a British Fashion award for model of the year on top of her doing campaigns for Topshop and H & M. She has also been revealed as the new face of DKNY. This Brit, with her free-spirited tomboyish flair is set to take the world by storm and is our best bet as 2013’s newest fashion icon.

She bears a striking resemblance to Kate Middleton with her chestnut mane and is last year’s breakout fashion star of Girls. This actor-comedienne opts for simple dresses with a twist. And the fashion world is embracing her with open arms for her style and fashion sense.

The Fanning Sisters
These siblings are experimental in their fashion style but they are definitely rocking it. They have very pale complexions but they can both carry pastel outfits with aplomb. They can just as well look good in little cut-away frocks or cute pinafores from Topshop. Elle, the younger of the two had no problem wearing the pastel geometric suiting by Prada, paired with chunky loafers and cravat. They are teenagers with no signature look but that is probably what makes them so interesting; you never quite know what they will be wearing.

Fashion watchers are waiting, too, not to see the movie, but to see what Jennifer Lawrence will be wearing during her red carpet appearances. The last time around, she rocked the red carpet with Stella McCartney, Prabal Gurung and Tom Ford outfits. She was introduced as the face of Dior after. She sticks to classic, body-skimming frocks in block colors and always with a minimum of accessories. She’s definitely a celebrity to watch this 2013.

Sister Ruby is also a sought-after model. Her glossy sidewalk wardrobe is from Celine, Acne and Alexander Wang.
