I got very excited when the New BA STAR Tropical Eye Shadow Palette arrived at my doorstep. I already reviewed the New BA STAR Eye Shadow Palettes. So let's see if this one is as good as the Smoky and Natural eye shadow palette I reviewed a few months back.

My Opinion

I love that it's not powdery at all and there were no fall outs when applied on skin, so I didn't have to worry about smudges at all. I also love that it's very pigmented and it has a creamy consistency; these made the makeup easy to apply. It blends pretty easily and not chunky. Those swatches you see in the photos were done with just one swipe. You will also notice that there is not much difference when I used the base.

Pros

The colors are pretty and bright, but very light, which make them perfect for summer. They last long after application.

Cons

I found it difficult to remove when I applied it using the base, but I guess to others, who have to wear makeup for a long time, this is a big plus.

Recommendation

The colors are pretty and would match any summer outfit. Whether you are at work, at the beach or at a party, the New BA STAR Tropical Eye Shadow Palette would definitely finish off your look.
