Book Review: Abigail and the Jungle Adventure

It's amazing how toddlers can process too many things in a very short span of time. Our twins who just turned 3 recently and who are still barely able to speak can say and identify all the letters in the alphabet, the numbers 1 to 10, the colors and the shapes. They learned all these using the iPad with my guidance, of course. So, whenever there is an app for toddlers available for download, I get it for them. I was recently given a chance to review an ebook, Abigail and the Jungle Adventure.

My Opinion

First off, the graphics are really nice. The clear and well illustrated graphics will easily engage young kids with the book. The story itself was very short, but it allowed our twins to learn about the Amazon and the jungle. Toddlers have a very short attention span and it was wise for the author to make the story brief and short.

Although I had downloaded several story books in the past, this is the first book that really got their attention. It's probably because of the graphics and the fun adventure of Abigail. The girls are asking me to read it to them several times a day!

Recommendation

This is a very educational book. It's a great tool to let your kids learn about other places, jungle animals and other cultures.
